Planned from the inside out

Green Building, Münster

Workstation design took pride of place in the Green Building rather than the facade design or the dimensions between the building’s axes – and this was the case right from the first planning phase onwards. Together with each of the future tenants, we developed flexible office structures that fully tapped the spaces’ potential.

  • 5 users/tenants
  • 3,300 m² net floor space, of which
  • 105 m² roof terrace
  • up to 220 workstations (currently 144)
  • 30 meeting spaces and quiet areas
  • Construction time: 11 months
  • completed: 2016

The latest environmental standards – such as triple glazing and geothermal energy – as well as optimised planning make the building sustainably “green”. These standards also ensure much lower rental costs per employee than with conventional buildings.

Good for the tenant, good for the environment

The Green Building combines energy savings, cost-effectiveness, aesthetics and employee satisfaction. The result is a win-win situation for everyone: the tenant, their employees, and the construction project’s client.

After an eleven-month construction period, the building’s numerous meeting points and quiet spaces facilitate creative and dynamic work for the five tenants. The building is our first project to be developed in the Loddenheide industrial district. It is located right on the lake in the Friedenspark, which is integrated into the industrial area.

Satisfied users

Anchor tenant is the American running brand Brooks. We are planning office spaces throughout Europe for the company based on a uniform corporate standard. Alongside Brooks, the Green Building plays host to IT service provider g.on experience, the organic produce importer Delphi Organic, logistics consulting company Vallée und Partner and e-commerce and media firm 100TAUSENDLUX.

The rapid growth of 100TAUSENDLUX required them to move into a larger office space nearby – which we also designed. So after 40 years based on Krögerweg, we moved into the building we designed in October 2018.
