Exhibition “over and out”
A group exhibition with the title “Strategies for using, re-utilising, evaluating and devaluating things and inter-connections” will be staged from September 10 to November 15 in the former administration building at Herwarthstraße 8 (where Mike Kelly had his petting zoo during the Münster Sculpture Project).
The exhibition, which is dedicated to using municipal brownfield sites, will actually take place in two locations. Angela Fette, Guido Münch, Marcel Hiller, Sebastian Walther and further guest artists will be displayed on two floors at the former administration building. The second part of this project, which is initiated by Ausstellungshalle zeitgenössische Kunst Münster (AZKM) and curated by Christoph Platz, can be viewed at the harbour, across from the AZKM. A 600 square metre former warehouse has been converted into a “global landscape” as Lars Breuer and Sebastian Freytag from the artists collective Konsortium in Düsseldorf call their giant installation.
